Obituary of Edith Dorothy vKenseth

Edith Dorothy Kenseth, age 98, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her children. Edith was born in Cambridge, Wisconsin on February 15, 1914, the daughter of Olaf and Stella (Netland) Jarlsberg. She graduated from Cambridge High School. On September 12, 1936, Edith married Helmer Kenseth at Willerup United Methodist Church in Cambridge, WI. Helmer preceded her in death on July 27, 2005. Edith and Helmer were lifelong members of Willerup United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and playing the piano and organ. In addition to being a homemaker, Edith worked for many years at Melster Candy Company in Cambridge. Surviving are: Daughter: Gloria (Jack) Zimmerman, Jupiter, FL; Son: Roy (Lorrie) Kenseth, Ormond Beach, FL; Daughter: Pauline (Carl) Nurmi, Cambridge, WI; Son: Eldon (Sue) Kenseth, Cambridge, WI; Son: Wayne (Kris) Kenseth, Janesville, WI; Daughter: Colleen Kenseth, Cambridge, WI; Daughter In Law: Kathleen Condon, Janesville, WI; Twelve Grandchildren: Jill, Troy, Tim, Matt, Kelley, Steve, Regina, Kevin, Aaron, Jeremy, Dawn, and Eric; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; and Two Brothers: Wesley (Charlene) Jarlsberg, Edgerton, WI, and Kenneth (Joyce) Jarlsberg, Levittown, PA. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Helmer, a son Gary Kenseth, and three brothers: Robert Jarlsberg. Orvin Jarlsberg, and Paul Jarlsberg. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Willerup Methodist Church, Cambridge, WI with Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Willerup Methodist Cemetery, Cambridge, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9:00AM on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the church until services begin.
