Obituary of Glen Herbert Pitt

Glen H. Pitt passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the age of 87 after a short illness. He was born on May 21, 1925 in Milton, Wisconsin. He was the son of Curtis and Mary Pitt. Glen married Virginia Strunk on August 21, 1947 in Whitewater. After leaving the family farm in Wisconsin he enjoyed 40 years working as a Carpenter mostly in California. Glen and Virginia spent 20 years of retirement in Alabama. His surviving family members are his wife Virginia, Laguna Woods, CA, daughters: Donna Shafer, Dallas, TX, Cheryl Berger, Ripon, CA and Karen Ames, San Clemente, CA; and four grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the First English Lutheran Church, 401 W. Main Street, Whitewater, WI with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Friends may call after 10AM on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the church until the services. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater.
