Obituary of Laura Lynn Hrobsky

Laura Lynn Hrobsky, age 22, of DeLand, FL was taken from us in a tragic senseless accident on November 10, 2012. Laura was born on May 22, 1990 in Fort Atkinson, WI to Donald and Toni (Dudley) Hrobsky. Laura graduated from the Fort Atkinson High School in 2008. Laura was a member of the Fort Atkinson Swim Team, member of the Fort Atkinson High School swim team and played softball for 2 years. Laura moved from Fort Atkinson to DeLand in 2009 to live with her grandma whom she called �My 91 year old hero�. She was employed as an Instrument Tech at Halifax Hospital in Daytona, FL, and preparing to start college. Laura was an avid Packer Fan, and self-professed �Mrs. Donald Driver �. Her laughter radiated to everyone around her. She had a gift of working with young children and enjoyed teaching many people how to swim. She was a loud spirit, cheering on the Blackhawks at many events. She brought joy, love and laughter to all who knew her. Her amazing smile and �bright eyes� will be missed by all. She leaves behind her parents: Donald and Toni Hrobsky; brother: Donald Hrobsky; sister: Katherine Droster; brother-in-law: David Droster; niece: Hailey Droster; nephew: Jaxson Droster, best friend: Sam Gallman, all of Fort Atkinson, WI; maternal grandmother: Phyllis Dudley, of DeLand, FL, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Laura was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, William Dudley; paternal grandparents, John and Rose Hrobsky; uncle, Walter Hrobsky; and close friend, Jenny Knox. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 5:30pm. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 3pm until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Fort Atkinson Aquatic Center, or to St. Joseph Catholic School, in honor of her niece, Hailey.
