Obituary of Sondra Ann Feltes

Sondra Ann Feltes, age 85, of Jefferson, WI, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012, at Alden Estates in Jefferson, WI. Sondra was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 12, 1927, the daughter of Byron A. and Alice (Mulligan) Anderson. On May 15, 1948, Sondra married William C. Feltes in Chicago, Illinois. William preceded her in death on January 1, 2010. Sondra moved to the Lake Ripley area in 1964 and served as the Treasurer for the Town of Oakland for 16 years from 1969 until 1985. She was the Supervisor for the Town of Oakland from 1987 until 1991 and the Treasurer for the Town of Oakland Sanitary District form 1985 until 1992. Sondra retired in 1992 and moved to Fort Atkinson, WI. During her retirement she devoted time to volunteer work and was Volunteer of the Year in 1995 at the Fort Atkinson Health Care Center. Sondra is survived by Two Half Brothers: Bruce B. Anderson, California and James Anderson, Denver, CO, and a Half Sister: Amanda Bellorado, Jackson, Wyoming. Sondra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Judith D. Anderson. Per Sondra's wishes, No Formal Services will be held. Inurnment will be with her husband at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Town of Oakland, Wisconsin. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, Wisconsin is assisting the family.
