Obituary of Jeanette Lucille Villers

Jeanette Lucille Villers, age 95, formerly of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Vintage on the Pond in Delavan, Wisconsin. Jeanette was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 15, 1917, the daughter of Percy and Hazel (Brophy) Preston. On October 30, 1937, Jeanette married Gaylord Arthur Villers (Sr.) in Hammond, Indiana. Gaylord preceded her in death on October 4, 2010. For many years, Jeanette worked as a secretary to the Curriculum Director of Park Ridge (IL) Public Schools. With her husband, she had resided in Park Ridge, Illinois, Black Earth, Wisconsin and Estes Park Colorado, before returning to Whitewater in her later years. Jeanette was a devoted homemaker and mother to her children, and her personal activities related to her family life. She also loved the American West, travel, and working with antiques in her retirement.. Surviving are: Her children: Joyce (Thomas) Ryan, Whitewater, WI and Gaylord A. (Deborah) Villers Jr., Barrington, IL, Grandchildren: Josh (Hong Le) Ryan, Jamie Ryan, Ned (Kirsten) Villers, Kate Villers and Preston (Kelly Burgee) Villers, Great-grandchildren: Fiona Ryan and Theo and Wyatt Villers, and a Sister: Grace Baumeister, Barrington, IL. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Dorothy Watts. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, WI. Friends may call after 10:30AM on Saturday the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin until the time of the services.
