Obituary of Arnold L. Jaeckel

Arnold L. �Jaeckel, age 77, of Jefferson, WI passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Arnold was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on August 20, 1935 , the son of Fred and Anna (Luebke) Jaeckel. On May 25, 1963, Arnold married Lois Esther Saur in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Lois preceded him in death on August 24, 1998. Arnold was a dairy farmer and implement dealer. In 1963, Arnold and his brother Richard began Jaeckel Brothers Excavating. His life was centered around his work. Arnold was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, WI. Surviving are: Children: Lori (Brian) Reichert, Jefferson, WI, James (Denise) Jaeckel, Jefferson, WI, George (Becky) Jaeckel, Fort Atkinson, WI, Andrew (Julie Koch) Jaeckel, Fort Atkinson, WI and Ben (Annette Banker) Jaeckel, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Kyle, Emily, James Jr., and John Jaeckel, and Michaela Banker, Great-granddaughter: Aurora Reichert, Sister: Anna Reich, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Sister-in-Law: Barbara Jaeckel, Jefferson, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his faithful companion Tucker. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Herman, Elmer, Raymond, Edgar, and Richard Jaeckel. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 05, 2013, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 301 S. High Street, Fort Atkinson,WI. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Monday, February 4, 2012 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson and after 9AM on Tuesday at the church until the time of the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to St., Paul's Ev.
