Obituary of Ronald Ervin Paupore

Ronald Ervin Paupore, age 73, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Ronald was born in Racine, Wisconsin on June 12, 1939, the son of Ervin and Olga (Cikel) Paupore. On May 28, 1960, Ron married Priscilla Marie Wahl at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, WI. Ron worked at Delco Electronics in Oak Creek, Wisconsin in the aerodynamics department and as an inspector for the Apollo Space Program and was a supervisor for many years. Ron was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. He enjoyed fishing and waterskiing at the cottage with his family and friends, hunting, snowskiing, snowmobiling, sky diving, traveling, and painting. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with all his family. Surviving are: Wife: Priscilla "Boots" Paupore, Fort Atkinson, WI, Children: Julie (Don) Folgert, Helenville, WI, Teresa (Rick Kippenhan) Wolfgram, Neenah, WI, and Kevin (Diane Foss) Paupore, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Rebecca (Kevin) Mehringer, Christopher (Heysell) Folgert, Elizabeth (Christopher) Brown, Deanne (Mark) Herter, Jacob Wolfgram, Kayla Wolfgram, and Jacob Dredske, Great-grandchildren: Scott Mehringer and Texas, Scott, Kaine, & Mariah Herter, Brother: Gerald Paupore, Special Aunt and Uncle: Edwin and Mary Ann Cikel and many relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson,WI with Father Brian Wilk celebrating. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 11AM on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the church until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson, WI or to Rainbow Hospice, Jefferson, WI. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Rainbow Hospice, Fort Memorial Hospital, and Dr. Jeffrey McGuire for the care they gave to Ron. And a special thank you to our close and caring friends who helped him during his illness. He will be dearly missed.
