Obituary of Catherine Ann Milner

Catherine Ann Milner, age 64, of Cold Spring, WI passed away at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek on Friday, February 15, 2013 after a short, courageous battle with leukemia. She is now residing in her heavenly home and being missed by all who knew and loved her so much. Cathy (Ann) was born in Beloit, WI on November 3, 1948, the beloved daughter of Alton and Alice (Toft) Hansen. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to John Milner on May 24, 1969. She worked at Admiral, Oak Industries, Butler Manufacturing, Midtek, and prior to her illness at Uncle Josh�s Bait Shop. Cathy was a very active person who enjoyed spending time with her precious family and special cat friends. She also enjoyed knitting, quilting, Ham radios, crocheting, reading, taking long walks, pipe organ trips, thresherees, and playing board games with her sisters. She was a very active member of St. John�s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cold Spring. She is survived by her loving family which consists of her husband, John of Cold Spring, her adoring siblings, Margaret, Carol, and Walter Hansen of Clinton, WI, and her special cat friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her father-in-law Harmon Milner, mother-in-law Ruth Milner, and brother-in-law Gene Milner. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. John�s Evangelical Lutheran Church, W4863 Carnes Road, Cold Spring with Rev. Jeffrey Schallert officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, and also one hour prior to the funeral service at church on Wednesday. Burial will take place in Cold Spring Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses from the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison for all they tried to do to prolong Cathy�s life. Thank you also to Rainbow Hospice for the special care they gave to Cathy and her family in her last days.
