Obituary of Thomas Henry Dickert

Thomas Henry Dickert, 79 of Cambridge, Wisconsin died on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Facility in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. He was born on August 5, 1933. Tom graduate from St. Bedes Catholic High School in Madison before joining the Army, serving our Country during the Korean War in 1953-1955. Following his service he attended and graduating from Madison Business College. On October 13, 1956 he married Frances Nilles at St. James Catholic Church in Madison, WI. Tom was employed by Cole Chemical in Madison, WI, retiring after over 30 years with the company. Surviving are his loving wife: Frances Dickert; son: John J. Dickert of Wyocena, WI, grandchildren: Alex, Adam, and Austin Dickert; 2 sisters-in-law: Jane and Dorothy Dickert, both of Madison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Philip and Harold "Barney" Dickert; and sister: Betty Mead. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Cambridge, WI. Visitation will be from 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Madison, WI.
