I feel fortunate to have found myself in the same family as Skip. He was a brilliant man, an amazing storyteller, and above all, an exceptional kind and caring soul. I've known Skip for over 38 years -- the vast majority of my adulthood. And my life is so much richer for it. Skip, I hope you and Dad B. are already having a great time sharing stories.

We are truly saddened by the passing of Skip and send our sincere condolences to Megan, Ryan and family. Mike was friends with and worked with Skip on and off for the past 38 years. 1st at CAP Wood Products then twice at The Country Craftsman until he recently retired. Could never get Skip to retire even though he could barely work on cars or out in the shop any longer. That's who he was and he wouldn't know what else to do with himself. Gone too soon but now free of pain.
Wishing you peace, comfort, the courage to face the days ahead and cherished memories to hold in your hearts.
Mike & Jean Davis

Skip, I will miss you my friend! I have known Skip for thirty years working with him often when building new homes for my clients. I always looked forward to meeting with Skip to talk about dogs, cars, his passion for racing and just life in general. Skip always made time for me when I would stop by or called. Skip is the type of person that could lite up a room with his smile. Skip, loved his family and would always have a story about his kids and or his grand children.
Rest in peace and it will be great to see you again in Heaven.
