Obituary of Jeanette L. Woolever

Jeanette L. Woolever, age 73, of Deerfield passed away on September 29, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Jeanette was born on October 29, 1944 in Richland County Wisconsin to Richard and Wilma (Fowell)  Higginbotham. She graduated from Royal High School, Elroy, WI in 1962.  On March 16, 1963 Jeanette married Duane Woolever and together they raised one son and four daughters in Deerfield.  Jeanette is a member of Willerup United Methodist Church, Cambridge.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, genealogy, her many roles at church, and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband, Duane; children Jeni Woolever, Madison, Mark (Lori) Woolever, Deerfield, Janice (Alan) Lund, Cambridge, Rhonda Woolever, Madison, Dawn (Dan) Martin, Deerfield; 8 grandchildren, Mitchell (Alyssa) and Brooke Woolever, Katie and Aaron Lund, Megan, Makayla, Macy and Maddy Martin; siblings Francis (Shane) Higginbotham, Huntington, IN, Donald (Carol) Higginbotham, Janesville, Connie Frutiger, Milton, Paul (Debbie) Higginbotham, Janesville, Joy (Tim) Frutiger, Stoughton.  She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Janice and brothers, Cecil and Richard.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00am at Willerup United Methodist Church, 414 W. Water St. Cambridge, WI 53523.  A visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5:00-7:00pm at Willerup United Methodist Church and again on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 9:30am until the time of the service.  Jeanette's generosity continued through organ donation.  The family would like to thank the ICU staff at SSM Health St. Mary's, Madison and the staff of UW Organ and Tissue Donation.  Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Nitardyfuneralhome.com
