Obituary of James Nicholas Betker

James N. Betker, 85, died July 14, 2018, with loved ones at his side.

He was born to the late  Marcella and Ed Betker on October 7, 1932, in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Jim graduated from St. Francis Minor Seminary High School in 1950. He served his country in the Army.

Jim loved to spend time with the family. He was an avid card player, spending much time over

the years playing Sheepshead and hearts.

He is survived by his sister. Eileen Kanters, of Fort Atkinson; brother Gerald (Rose Marie) Betker

of Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 9:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Inurnment will follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
