Obituary of Jean Ellen Fleming

Jean Ellen Fleming, 79, Fort Atkinson passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Alden Estates in Jefferson.

Jean was born on September 17, 1938 in Fort Atkinson, WI to Ralph and Josephine Sinclair.  She graduated from Jefferson High School and she received her two year degree as an LPN.  She was employed as a nurse for the Fort Memorial Hospital, Countryside Nursing Home and for Fort Health Care Center.  Jean married Robert Fleming on July 18, 1958.  She loved her gambling and rides on Harley Davidson motorcycles.  She loved animals and volunteered at the Jefferson County Humane Society. Jean was an amazing grandma.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church. 

She is survived by her husband Robert, Fort Atkinson; children Lori Roth, Fort Atkinson, Michael (Debi) Fleming, Fort Atkinson; daughter in law Connie Fleming; grandchildren Jaime (Jacob) Bauman, Joshua Roth, Jonathan, Matthew and Kimberly Fleming; brother Ronald (Sue) Sinclair, Waukesha, Judy Fournier, Florida, Linda (Dave) Beyer, Hayward.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, David and Ron Fleming.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 3:00pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave. Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30 until the time of the service.  The family would like to thank her granddaughter Jaime for the years of taking care of Jean.  She was always there for her.
