Obituary of John A. Kemmeter

John A. Kemmeter age 67 of fort Atkinson passed away on June 8, 2018 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient center after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

He was born on April 11, 1951 in Fort Atkinson, WI. to Gordon and Jean Kemmeter.

John graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1969 then went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Madison where he received a Master’s Degree in Accounting and attended Law School. While there he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He was a Certified Public Accountant and was employed by several public accounting firms and insurance companies his career spanning 40 years.

John enjoyed all sports and attended many Badger football games. He also belonged to the University of Wisconsin Madison Alumni Association.

He is survived by his brother Tom Kemmeter of Waukesha, WI, Cousins: Terry Barnhart of Fort Atkinson, WI, Scott and Kelly Barnhart and their children Reid, Ben and Paige of Helenville, WI, and David and Karyn Morell of Oregon, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Russell Kemmeter

A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday June 14, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave. Fort Atkinson, WI. 53538. Friends may meet with the family from 10am until time of service.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery Fort Atkinson, WI.
