Obituary of Roberta Mae Sahr

Roberta M. Sahr, 91, Fort Atkinson, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at her home.

She was born to Perry and Lucille (Lee) Dillon in Rockford, IL on June 17, 1932.  She moved to Fort Atkinson when she was 6 years old and attended schools here.  Roberta had a career as a beautician, manager, and truck driver.  She married David Sahr on January 1, 1982.  He preceded her in death on June 25, 2016.  Roberta loved camping, fishing, crocheting, genealogy, and Bible studies.  She was a member of the Church in the Barn and attended Ladies Bible Study there.

She is survived by her son Gary (Laurie) Schimek, daughter Vickie Sahr, and daughter Lori (Patrick) Klopotek.  She is further survived by her 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, great-grandson Caden Sahr, son-in-law Michael Sahr, brothers Roger, Rodney, and Rolland, sisters-in-law Pat Dillin, Patricia Dillin, and Mary Dillin.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:00am at the Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.nitardyfuneralhome.com
