Obituary of Anne M Andryszcyk

Anne M. Andryszcyk, 68, of Hartford, formerly of Fort Atkinson passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wi.

Anne was born on June 30, 1955 in Waukegan, IL to Glenn and Ruth (Piquette) Polk.  Anne was the youngest daughter in a family of 5 girls and 3 boys.  She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1973.  She married the love of her life, Bruce, on September 17, 1988.  Anne was employed with Humana as a manager and later worked in sales for Adaptive Technologies.  Anne enjoyed her longtime membership with the Legend Lakes Channel Cruiser Snowmobile Club, as well as, riding her motorcycle.  She cherished the friendships made through both of these activities.

Anne had a sense of adventure and never turned down the opportunity to travel which took her to many states, including Alaska.  She also had the opportunity to visit Italy, Turkey, Mexico and Canada.  Her optimistic plan for the future  included taking a year long trip around the world.  

Anne is survived by her husband, Bruce, siblings Mary (John) Witte, Madison; John (Nancy) Polk, Menomonee Falls, Judy (Gary) Weimer, Lombard, IL; Jim (Sue) Polk, Cambridge; and George Polk, Fort Atkinson, sister-in-law, Karen (Tim) Durnin of Melbourne, Fl.  and 16 nieces and nephews that she loved and treated as her own.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Peggy (Craig) Hill, Theresa Steib and niece, Bridget Polk.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 12 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1660 Endl Blvd. Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Burial will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
