Obituary of Dennis J. Van Den Einde

DENNIS J. VAN DEN EINDE, 85, of Cambridge, WI  passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023 at the London Lodge II in Cambridge.

He was born on May 31, 1938 in Roseland, MN to Edgar and Mildred (Wieberdink) Van Den Einde.  Dennis attended school in Danube, MN and graduated from Danube High School.  He received a bachelor’s degree in business from Luther College in Decorah, IA.  He married Susanne Hageman on September 21, 1974 in Redfield, SD.

Dennis worked for Hartford Insurance in Minneapolis, MN and Otis, McGee & Gustafson Agency in Duluth, MN.  He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson.

He loved fishing, hunting, watching football and was an avid Minnesota sports fan.  He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Dennis will be deeply missed by his wife, Sue, children Jeff (Lynette) Van Den Einde of Stanton, IA, Jay (Barb Linder) Van Den Einde of Camache, IA, and Peter (Terri) Van Den Einde of Rockdale, WI; grandchildren Jonathan (Danielle), Brittany, Jayson, Joshua, Arden and Evelyn; great-granddaughter, Palmer and great-grandson, Easton; sister Ethel Good of Rogers, MN; brother-in-law Pat Esser of  Ramsey, MN; sister-in-law Barbara Hageman (Steve Kenzer), Sparks, NV and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Lu Larson and Myrna Esser;  brothers-in-law Larry Good and Lowell Larson.
