Obituary of Jeffrey Charles Schiller

Jeffrey Charles Schiller, 62, Fort Atkinson, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 6, 2023 at his home in Fort Atkinson, WI.

Jeff was born on October 8, 1961, in Milwaukee, WI to Bruce and Glenda (Gehrke) Schiller.  He graduated from John Marshall High School in Milwaukee in 1979 and attended Milwaukee Area Technical College and received a degree in Police Science.  Jeff served his country in the United States Army.  He worked as a Community Service Officer for Shorewood Police Department and as a Corrections Officer with Washington County.  Jeff enjoyed camping, fishing, working on his car and was a collector of various items.   He also enjoyed refinishing and restoring antiques.     

He is survived by his sister Karen (Kevin Engle) Habanek, Verona, WI and many extended family members and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Schiller and his very special friend, Christine Jensen.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 12:00pm at Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow in the Rock River Cemetery, Milton, WI.  Online condolences may be made at http://www.nitardyfuneralhome.com
