Obituary of Marian Evelyn Wrasse

Marian Evelyn Wrasse, 89, Lake Mills, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Marian was born on April 24, 1934, to Matthew and Agnes (Biederman) Bass.  She graduated from Jefferson High School.  On September 3, 1956, Marian married Dean Wrasse.  He preceded her in death on January 28, 2008.  Marian was a beautician for 40 years at Lois’s Beauty Shop in Lake Mills followed by 10 years serving the residents at Willowbrook and Brook Gardens Senior Living.  She was an avid gardener, enjoyed refinishing furniture and loved feeding her family.  Marian and Dean spent many winters at their place in Mesa, AZ.  She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church

She is survived by her sons: Terry Wrasse, Mesa, AZ and Dale (Theresa) Wrasse, Lake Mills; grandsons: Jason Wrasse and Jeremy (Stephanie) Wrasse; great-grandchildren Ayla and Rilyn; sister Susan Green, Johnson Creek.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Troy Wrasse, sisters: Shirley Hunter, Barbara Orethun, and Judy Wallace.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church 1530 S. Main St. Lake Mills, WI 53551.  Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
