Obituary of Arthur Meisner

Arthur Meisner age 89 of Whitewater, WI passed away on November 11th, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI. Arthur was born on April 5, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to David and Louise (Rothau) Meisner. His early life was spent in Turtle Valley, WI, then Whitewater, WI where he graduated from Whitewater High School. He then served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On January 20, 1951 he was united in marriage to Shirley M. Koepke. Following their marriage they lived in Whitewater, WI. He was a tool and die maker at Whitewater Manufacturing for 37 years. Arthur was also a licensed electrician and did jobs around the Whitewater area. He was a member of AMVETS. He also restored antique clocks, and a 1940 Chevy. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle up until last year. He is survived by his wife Shirley of Whitewater, WI and 4 children Bruce ( Elizabeth Bartos) Meisner of Monticello, IN, Scot (Kellie) Meisner of Chetek, WI, Vicki (Ray) Garlock of Whitewater, WI, and Lori (Mark Hoffman) Roach of Jefferson, WI. Arthur is further survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Private services will be held.
