Obituary of Teri Ann Orton

Teri Ann (Morgan) Orton, age 61, of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 13, 2015. Teri was born February 3, 1954 the daughter of John "Jack" and Rae Jean (Carlisle) Morgan. Teri married James Orton Jr. on June 19, 1973. Teri worked at the Fort Hospital as an LPN and then as a Registered Nurse before moving to Utah in 1993, where she continued working as a Registered Nurse at the Utah University Hospital. Surviving are her loving husband James Orton Jr. of Janesville, Son Scott Orton, Janesville, Daughter Melisa Orton Rutter, Fort Atkinson, Sisters; Shan (Dave) Wolfram, Roseburg, Oregon, Mary Kay (Virgil) Seisser, Jefferson, Patti (Michael) Mortimer, and Nancy (Pete) Olsen both of Fort Atkinson, 3 Grandchildren, Gunner Orton, Utah, Kayla Rutter and Justin Rutter both of Rhode Island, and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Terri was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI, with a visitation from 2-3PM. Following the service, a luncheon will be served at the family home in Janesville, In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Home Health United Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association. The Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Rock County Home Health United Hospice for their compassionate care.
