Obituary of Lola Louise Peterson

Lola Louise Peterson, age 94, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her home. Lola was born in Fort Atkinson ,WI on April 30, 1921, the daughter of Erick Joel and Anna (Rohde) Frisk. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1939. On October 26, 1946, Lola married Raymond Peterson at the home of her parents in Fort Atkinson. Raymond preceded her in death on January 19, 2012. Lola worked as a personal secretary for the Parker Pen Company in Janesville, WI until her retirement. Lola was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Humane Society of Jefferson County. She lover her animals, especially "Mojo" her Rhodesian Ridgeback. Surviving are: Two sisters-in-law: Lois (David) Bielefeldt and Carol Peterson, both of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. Lola was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Erick, her husband Raymond, and a brother Elwood (Mildred) Frisk. Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 11, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 301 S. High Street, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Paul Scharrer and Rev. Matthew Vik officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held after 10:30AM on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the church until the time of the service.
