Obituary of Raul Alvarado

Raul Alvarado, age 67, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his home. Raul was born in Laredo, Texas on January 1, 1948, the son of Juan and Juliana (Estevis) Alvarado Sr. On September 28, 1980, Raul married Joan Behm. Raul retired from General Motors after 22 years of service. Raul enjoyed being outdoors and loved his grandchildren and his dog Dino. Surviving are: Wife: Joan Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI, Children: Mark (Angela) Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI and Maria Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Tyler Verden, Austin Dittman, Dylan Alvarado, and Abbey Alvarado, Siblings: Juan (Vicki) Alvarado, Jr., Whitewater, WI, Jose (Patti) Alvarado, Madison, WI, Gilberto (Lynette) Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI, Albert Alvarado, IN, Thomas Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI, Gary Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI, Donald Alvarado, Fort Atkinson, WI, Zulema Montemayor, MI, Margaretta (Alfanso) Sanchez, Beloit, WI, Carolina (Reyanldo) Mayans, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Steve (Norma) Alvarado, Jefferson, WI. Raul is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Raul was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Holly Alvarado, brother Hector Alvarado, and nephews: Roberto Montemayor, Christopher Alvarado, and Guadalupe Alvarado. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 9, 2015, at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1660 Endl Blvd, Fort Atkinson, WI with Father Peter Auer celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4-7PM on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI.
