Obituary of Wallace William Walker

Wallace William Walker, Sr. age 82, of Fort Atkinson, WI, formerly of Sturgeon Bay and Crivitz, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his home. Wallace was born in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin on July 5, 1933 the son of Howard and Grace (Maccaux) Walker Sr. Wallace served his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and then he joined the Boilermakers Local 107 and worked for over 50 years. He called himself a professional welder and took pride in his work. During this time, he married and started a family. He enjoyed being up on his land in Crivitz, Wisconsin where he owned and operated a miniature golf course for many years. Wallace loved to listen and dance to polka music. He also enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends especially cribbage. Surviving are: His wife: Doris (Klug) Walker, Fort Atkinson, WI, Children: Bruce (Kerry) Walker, Forestville, WI, Nancy (Mike) Cuculi, Sturgeon Bay, WI, Wallace Walker, Jr., Sturgeon Bay, WI, and Alicia (Russ) Vandertie, Sturgeon Bay, WI, Step-children: Scott (Laurie) Null, Lake Mills, WI, Rod (Beth) Null, Lake Mills, WI, and June Null-McCaffery, Johnson Creek, WI, Sixteen Grandchildren and Twelve Great-grandchildren, Sisters: Bernice Lasee, Mary Hartel, and Georgianne Kodanko, and Brothers: Marvin Walker, Robert Walker, Daniel Walker, and Howard Walker, Jr. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Christine Walker, brothers: Morris, Kenny, Frank, and Merlin Walker, and a son-in-law Bob McCaffery. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 404 Roosevelt Street, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Steven Wilkens officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2PM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the church until the time of the services. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI is assisting the family.
