Obituary of Gladys Marie Dahnert

Gladys M. Dahnert, age 93, formerly of Hebron Township, Wisconsin died December 14, 2015 after a short illness. The former Gladys Crandall was born Oct. 26, 1922 in Whitewater, Wisconsin. She married Arthur H. Dahnert on June 15, 1940 and resided on their farm in Hebron Township. After Arthur died in 1981, Gladys moved to Peoria, AZ to enjoy the sun and warmth. She is survived by three sons, Robert (June Myklebust) DeForest, WI, Gerald (Catherine) Ft. Atkinson, WI, Thomas of Peoria, AZ and two daughters, Diana (Lynn) Rockford, IL and Cynthia May, Ft. Atkinson. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sons and 6 siblings. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 at Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m., enjoy a cookie and remember Gladys and her life. Interment will be held at a later date.
