Obituary of Rodney Douglas Forester

Rodney "Butch" Douglas Forester, age 74, of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at his home. Butch was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin on February 28, 1941, the son of John and Mildred (Robinson) Forester. He graduated from Tomah High School. On June 20, 1959, Butch married Joyce Hoag in Tomah, WI. Butch was the longtime owner and operator of R.D. Forester Painting and Decorating. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, planting flowers, and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his wife: Joyce Forester, Whitewater, WI, his children: John Forester, Madison, WI and Jackie (Rick) Rogers, Whitewater, WI, and Grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Megan Forester, Benjamin Rogers, and Lindsey (Tony) Pennuto. Butch was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be at Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, Wisconsin at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2015, with Rev. Gary Holmes officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM-11AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the funeral home until the time of the services.
