Obituary of Balys Peter Platukis

Balys P. Platukis, 93, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the Blackhawk Senior Residence in Fort Atkinson. Balys was born on December 23, 1922 in Alytus, Lithuania. He immigrated to the United States in 1948.� On June 25, 1950 he married Elizabeth Ferry in Chester, PA.� She preceded him in death in April, 1996.� Balys was employed by Scott Paper Company in Eddystone, PA before taking a job with the United States Department of Treasury where he retired from in 1988.� He and Elizabeth enjoyed traveling. He is survived by his two sons; Balys Jr (Robin) and Gabrys(Darlene) Platukis, Five Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
