Obituary of Helen Mary Seaquist

Helen Mary Stipek Seaquist Helen Mary Stipek Seaquist died January 31st 2016 at her home at the Black Hawk Senior Residence in Fort Atkinson WI where she has lived for the past four years. Mrs. Seaquist was born in Cicero, IL, November 24, 1921, to August and Dorothy Mleziva Stipek. After her marriage to James J. Seaquist in October 1941, they lived in Illinois, Wisconsin, Alabama, Florida and South Carolina. Mrs. Seaquist was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; and her sister, Lucille Hermann. She is survived by four children: Judith Lyons of Superior, WI; Joanne Kemmis of Simpsonville, SC; Joyce Leonard (Garry) of Tallahassee, FL, and James J. Seaquist, Jr.,� (Valerie) of Meridianville, AL. Also survived by six grandchildren: Jean Oseko (Fred), Carrie Shockman (Zac), Peggy Huckabee, Serena Dixon (David), Kirstie Glaze and Duncan Kemmis, as well as fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Other surviving family members include 9 nieces and nephews. The family is especially grateful to the staff and residents of Black Hawk Senior Residence and Rainbow Hospice for their loving care of Helen. A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorials can be made in Mrs. Seaquist�s name to Black Hawk Senior Residence at 1 Milwaukee Ave W, Fort Atkinson WI 53538 or Rainbow Hospice 147 W Rockwell St, Jefferson WI 53549. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI is assisting the family.
