Obituary of Roger Edward Boos

Roger Edward Boos, 76, of Rome, WI�passed away at his home on Thursday, February 18,2016. Roger was born on April 27, 1939 in Rome, WI to Dewy and Augusta (Boerst) Boos. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1957.� Roger served his country in the United States Marines from 1957-1960.� He married Judi Miller on February 24, 1962 at St. Marks, Jefferson.� Roger worked for over 30 years for a local construction company before he and his brothers started Boos Brothers Construction Company.� He and Judi also owned and operated the Village Inn in Rome for 8 years. Roger was a big fan of all Badger sports and baseball, he played football & baseball in high school and Land-O- Lakes. He also played softball. After his playing days he liked to go to Land-O-Lakes to watch and give "advice". He was also a very passionate Brewers fan, never missing a game. His other interests� were hunting, especially bow hunting, fishing and gardening, he loved having a lot of beautiful flowers every summer. He is survived by his wife Judi, Children; Barry (Charmaine) Boos, Rome, Dawn (Wayne) Luebke, Whitewater, Darrin (Tracie) Boos, Palmyra, Grandchildren; James, Scott and Jonathan Luebke, Morgan (Sebastien) Fortin, Bryce, Owen and Aby Boos, Great-Grandchild, Connor, Step-Grandchildren, Jennifer Surlak, Derrek (Stephanie) Surlak, Step-Great-Grandchildren, Rilynne and Kaydence, Brothers; Ralph (Shirley) Boos, Rome, Wayne (Shirley) Boos, Rome, Sister-in-Law, Janice Boos, Sullivan, Brother-in-Law, Chet (Mary) Trebitowski, Sullivan and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters; Delores Trebitowski and Shirley French, and Brothers; Donnie and Royce Boos and Nephew, Dennis Trebitowski. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rome with Rev. Michael Mannisto officiating. A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 4-7pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI and at the church on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Hoffman Cemetery in Rome. As an expression of sympathy you may wish to consider memorials to Rainbow Hospice.
