Obituary of Sylvia A. Golich

Sylvia H. Golich, age 85, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016� surrounded by her family. Sylvia was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 25, 1930, the daughter of James Basil and Katherine (Stach)Haruch. She loved company, animals, nature, NASCAR, Da Bears. Also she liked being involved with all of her families' sporting activities and all family and friends events. She was always the one that cheered the loudest.� Sylvia was a mother to whomever had the pleasure of crossing her path. Sylvia spent many years working at the Fort Memorial Hospital, and at Countryside Nursing Home as an aid. She also worked and helped people in their homes.� She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, WI. Surviving are: Sons: Daniel Golich, Las Vegas, NV, Dale J.(Fawn) Golich, McAllen, TX, George J. (Tammy) Golich, Fort Atkinson, WI, James M. Golich, Spring, TX, and Nicholas J.(Jennifer) Golich, Fort Atkinson, WI, Brothers: Gerald (Trudee) Haruch, James (Jenny) Haruch, and John (Connie) Haruch, Sister: Helen (Raymond) Warchol, Grandchildren: Daniel (Kim) Golich,� Amy (Jason) Golich, Katie (Mark) Golich,�Ryan Golich, Pam Fox, and Samantha Leavens, Great-grandchildren: Emma Berg,� Lily Mae Myer,� Riley J. Myer,� and Isla Turner, Anny, Seth and Dirk�� She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Brother, George, Sisters; Vera and Mary Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at 11:00 AM at the Nitardy Funeral Homes Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI with Father Peter Auer officiating. Private burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4-7PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI and from 9-11AM on Wednesday at the funeral home until time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to in Sylvia's name to the Center for Native American Youth at the Aspen Institute as this was very important to Sylvia. cnay.org/contribute_Sylvia_Golich.html
