Obituary of Lois Marguerite Williams

Lois Marguerite Williams, age 90, of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her home. Lois was born in Oak Park, Illinois on September 28, 1925, the daughter of Frederick Earl and Lena Marguerite (Feldpausch) Weintz Sr. She graduated from Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois in 1943. On September 7, 1947, Lois married Dale A. Williams in Chicago, Illinois. In 1973, the family moved to the Whitewater area. Dale and his business partner began the Verlo Mattress Company which was named in honor of their wives. The name of the company was the combination of the partners wives names Verna and Lois. Lois loved roller skating, ice skating, dancing, sewing, gardening, and collecting Carnival Glass. Surviving are: Husband: Dale A Williams, Whitewater, Son: David (Pamela) Williams, Whitewater, and Two grandchildren: Julia (Peter) Kendl, Milwaukee, WI, and Theresa Williams, Delavan, WI. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Janice on June 24, 1969, and a brother Frederick Earl Weintz Jr. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11:00 AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, WI with Rev. Kimberly Brumm officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the time of the services.
