Obituary of Kathy Lynn Bowers

Kathy Lynn Bowers, 60, Fort Atkinson, passed away at the Fort Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 18, 2016. Kathy was born on July 2, 1955 in Frederick, Maryland to James Wilson and Barbara Jean (Bloom) Fouche. She graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick, MD. On June 30, 1973 Kathy married Mark Bowers and they preceded to spend every day together for the next 42 years. Kathy worked on their family farm in Maryland until she moved out to Wisconsin with her family when they purchased their own dairy farm. She loved taking care and nurturing the young calves born on the farm. She loved music, reading, coloring and classic tv shows and movies. She had many close friends which included Ron, Gabie, Lance and Dalton Warrenburg, Jenny Zweig, Mary St. Clair, Marlowe Laatsch and Patti Rullman. She is survived by her Husband, Mark, Children; Kerri Bowers, Fort Atkinson, Mark Jr., Jefferson, Korinna (Jeremy Austin) Bowers, Fort Atkinson and Grandchild, Kaylynn Bowers, Brothers-in-Law: Harold (Juanita) Bowers and Edward Bowers and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James W. Fouche Jr., Sisters-in-Law: Shirley Eader, Barbara Bowers and Charlotte Bowers. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00am at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Nitardy Funeral home and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service.
