Obituary of Richard L. Piertiz
Richard "Dick" �Pieritz, age 71, of Cambridge, died Friday, April 3, 2009 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center in Madison.�
He was born January 30, 1938 in Fort Atkinson the son of Fred and Gertrude (Pitzner) Pieritz.� He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1956, and then studied while serving an apprenticeship to be a tool and die maker.� Dick served in the National Guard during the Berlin Crisis.� He married Beverly Sleaver on June 28, 1958 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson where he continued to be a member.� Together they enjoyed and lived on Lake Ripley in Cambridge.� Dick worked at Imperial Stamp and Engraving in Janesville until retiring in 1997.
�Dick is survived by his wife Bev of Cambridge.

�Dick was preceded in death by his parents, and one niece: Wendy Sleaver.
�Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Bryan Engfer and Rev. Bill Beyer co-officiating.� Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
