Obituary of Joseph Stanley Walters
J. Stan Walters age 69 of Cambridge Wisconsin passed away May 10, 2018 at Agrace Hospice Care surrounded by his family.
He was born Joseph Stanley Walters on February 19, 1949 in Madison Wisconsin to Junior O. and Agnes A. (Jarecki) Walters.
His early life was spent in Waterloo Wisconsin. He served in the US Army in Vietnam. On April 10 1984 in Bradenton Florida, Stan married Angelique Bell. Following their marriage they lived in Cambridge Wisconsin.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Deerfield Wisconsin. Stan enjoyed hunting traveling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Angelique, 3 children Yvonne (Andrew) Granquist, Sebastian Walters and Ryan (Heather) Walters. 6 grandchildren: Teralina Walters, Haley Walters, Emma Granquist, Laura Granquist, Mackenzie Walters and Carter Walters. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters John (Betty) Walters, Mary Yager, David Walters, Charlotte Walters and Alice Gaertner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charlie Walters and Raymond Walters.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 17 2018 from 5 to 7 at the Nitardy Funeral Home 208 N. Park St., Cambridge, WI. A service will take place on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church 138 County Rd. BB Deerfield, WI. with a visitation from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial to follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery Lake Mills WI.
The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice Center, the William S Middleton VA Hopsital, and Pastor Paul Scharrer for their care during Stan’s illness.
