Obituary of Margaret A Dahnert

MARGARET A. DAHNERT

Margaret A. Dahnert, 90, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

She was born January 9, 1928, in the Town of Hebron to the late William and Lillian (Langholff) Schumacher. She married Harvey M. Dahnert on September 21, 1947. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1997.

Margaret graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1945. She worked for WD Hoard prior to getting married.

Margaret resided on the family farm for 70 years, before moving to Sienna Crest in January, 2018.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson.

Margaret enjoyed baking, gardening, feeding and watching the birds. The most important thing in her life was her family.

She is survived by her children, Stanley (Shelly), Ronald (Susan), Wayne (Cindy Bowen), Ken, and Sandra (Jeff) Hottman; grandchildren Daniel (Sarah Schultz), Johnathan (Cheryl Mierendorf), Timothy, Kristina (Steven) Slawny, Matthew and Marcus; step-grandchildren Kelli (Bryan)

Northey, Eric (Megan) Lonsdale and Andy (Krystal) Lonsdale; along with one great grandson, Channing Dahnert and four step great grandchildren, Olivia Northey, Donovan Lonsdale, Bridget Lonsdale, Sophie Lonsdale and Silas Lonsdale. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Esther Dahnert; along with many nephews and nieces.

She was also predeceased by her parents and her brother Frederick.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, with Pastor Matthew Vik and Pastor David Ernest co-officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Memorials may be made to the church.
