Obituary of Ernest Albert Schultz

Ernest Albert Schultz, 94  passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023 at Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.  He was born on June 26, 1928 in Watertown, WI to Bertha (Kaczor) and Emil Schultz.

Ernest grew up in the Watertown area and graduated from Watertown High School. After high school he served in the US Army and was in the Korean War.

He worked the majority of his life at Thomas Industries, and retired from J-Star industries.

On December 9, 1976 Ernest married Donna Lou (Kateley).

During his life, Ernest was a proud member of “Duck’s Unlimited.” His favorite hobbies were Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, and Canning.

He will be deeply missed by Children: Laurie (Ralph) Giorno, Whitewater, WI, Julie (Dave) Haberman Whitewater, WI, Jeannie Bennett Elroy, WI, Vincent Stroeh Heavener, OK, 7 Grandchildren, and his Sister-In-Law Shirley Schultz.

Ernest was proceeded in death by his wife Donna, parents Bertha and Emil, Sister Doris Underwood and Brother Herbert Schultz

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 11am until 1pm  at Nitardy Funeral Home Fort Atkinson, WI. A light lunch will follow at Jansens Banquet Hall 1245 Whitewater Ave. Fort Atkinson, WI

In Lieu of flowers memorials in Ernest’s honor can be made out to Alden Estates of Jefferson.
