Obituary of Sandra Jane Clement

Sandra Jane Clement, 68, Cambridge, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, WI.

Sandra was born on June 12, 1954, in Marshfield, WI to Arlan and Priscilla (Wicks) Ferch.  She married Robbie Mason Clement on September 16, 1978, in Madison, WI. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2023.  Sandra enjoyed taking trips up to Lake Superior at the family cabin.  Her interests were crafts, music, horseback riding and dog obedience.  She was very talented at knitting and sewing.  Sandra volunteered with her dog Molly at assisted living places and hospitals.  She was active in the 4-H with her daughters, Katie and Sally, when they participated in the County Fair.  They worked together on flower arranging, sewing, horse and dog showing.  Sandy studied horticulture at UW-Madison and put her talents to use at a flower shop for a number of years.  Sandy performed in school plays, singing when she was growing up and also played the harp and banjo.  She and Robbie performed in a folk band which is how they met.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children Sally Rose Bates and Katie (Ryan) Tschanz; grandson Kyle Tschanz, and mother, Priscilla Ferch. She was preceded by her father and husband. 

A Celebration of her and Robbie’s lives will be held at a later date.  Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge is assisting the family.
