Obituary of Lucille Marie Lowrey

Lucille Marie Lowrey, 93, of DeForest, Wisconsin died Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.

Lucille was born on May 20, 1929 in Town of Bloom, Richland County, Wisconsin to Buford and Beulah (Burt) Parker.  She married Gordon W. Lowrey on September 10, 1947 in Richland Center, Wisconsin.  Lucille was a wife, mother, homemaker, day care provider, and self-employed parts sorter.

Lucille loved camping, traveling with family, going on Sunday scenic drives, and visiting family.

Surviving Lucille are her children, Connie (Donald) Bollig - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Steven Lowrey – Browntown, Wisconsin, Dennis (Sandie) Lowrey – Rothbury, Michigan, James (Linda) Lowrey – Cambridge, Wisconsin, Cheryl (David) Kilburg – Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Kevin (Christine) Lowrey – Cambridge, Wisconsin, Brian Lowrey – Waterloo, Wisconsin, David (Kimberly) Lowrey – Stoughton, Wisconsin, Daniel (Barbi) Lowrey – Marshall, Wisconsin, Timothy (Roanna) Lowrey – Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Bradley Lowrey – Whitewater, Wisconsin, Jeffrey (Clinton) Lowrey – Milton, Wisconsin, Judith (Todd) Kinnaird – Cambridge, Wisconsin; daughter-in-law, Chris Lowrey – Edgerton, Wisconsin; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Bloedow – Sextonville, Wisconsin, Mary (Stan) Anderson – Richland Center, Wisconsin; brother, Lester (Karen) Parker – Richland Center, Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Edie Parker -   Viola, Wisconsin; brother-in-law, Gaylord Hooker – Richland Center, Wisconsin; and aunt, Catherine Reed – Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lowrey; son, Bruce Lowrey; granddaughter, Michelle Kilburg; sisters, Eva Hecker, Linda Hooker, infant twin-sisters, Jean and Joan; brother, Burt Parker. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lucille’s name to the Lowrey family or Agrace Hospice.

Funeral Services will take place at 12PM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church in Cambridge.  Visitation will take place from 8AM until the time of service.  Burial will take place at a later date.
