Obituary of Lucy Hansen

Lucy Lucille Hansen, 80, of Brainerd, MN passed away unexpectedly in Fort Myers, FL. 

Lucy was born on September 21, 1942 to Everett and Florence (Yeager) Edwards. She graduated High School while working at Brownie’s restaurant.  Lucy married Neil Hansen on April 8, 1968.  She was employed at Prent Corporation as a Inspecter/Packer and retired as a Lead/Quality Associate after 25 years. Lucy loved to Hair pin lace, crochet, listen to classic country music and Daniel O’Donnell & Owen Mac, read books by Louis L’Amore, and dance.

Lucy is survived by her daughter, Connie Packard of Fort Myers, FL; Grandson, Vincent Packard of Fitchburg, WI; Sisters, Gladys Greenland of Beloit, WI, Frances McClintock (niece Carol) of South Beloit, IL; Brother, Lacey Edwards of Beloit, WI; Stepdaughters, Karen (David) Petersen of Idaho Falls, ID, Diane (Dennis) Winfield; and Sister-in-law, Mary Jo Edwards.

Lucy was proceeded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings, Ethel, Marie, Ruby, Earl, and John.

There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 11AM – 1PM at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St Whitewater, WI. Burial will follow the visitation at Oakhill cemetery, 1725 N. Washington St Janesville, WI.
