Obituary of Florence Elizabeth Arndt

Florence Elizabeth Arndt, 87,  of Fort Atkinson passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Sienna Crest surrounded by her loving family.

Florence was born January 12, 1935 in Fort Atkinson, WI to Arnold and Hilda (Floerke) Kube. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in June of 1953. Florence and Robert Paul Arndt joined in matrimonial union on August 29, 1953, in Fort Atkinson’s St. Paul’s Lutheran church, where she had been baptized, confirmed, and attended as well. She worked at Crepaco for 45 years.

Florence loved to travel and enjoy the outdoors, as well as spend time with her grandchildren. She also loved to plan parties.

Florence is survived by her children, David (Mely) Arndt of Fort Atkinson, Debra Jones of Lincoln, Arkansas, Sally (Todd) Schoening of Fort Atkinson; sister, Helen O’Neil; grandchildren, Lyn (Jim) Marty, Beth (Clay) Alexander, Michael (Maria) Arndt, Heath Jones, Andrea (Tim) Smith; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Jacob, and Eli Marty, Brendon, Lydia, Landon Smith, Nikita McCallister, Felicity, Selena, and  Atreyu Arndt. 

She is preceded in death by parents, Arnold and Hilda (Floerke) Kube; husband, Robert Paul Arndt; son-in-law, Daniel Jones; siblings, Ruth Braman, Karl Kube; and grandson, Kyle Schoening.

Funeral services will take place at 11AM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.  Visitation will take place from 9AM until the time of services.  A burial will follow service at Evergreen Cemetery.
