Obituary of Patsy Ann Cox

Patsy Ann Holland Cox Corder, of Whitewater, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 24, 2022. 

Born on March 6, 1944, she was the daughter of Glen and Ruby (Hines) Holland.  In 1963, she graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. She worked for 10 years as a Nurses Aid at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. On October 26, 1963, she married Duane “Dewey” A. Cox. They shared 33 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on April 28th 1996. 

They enjoyed many years of motorcycling together and were of members of GWRRA Chapter A. She enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with grandkids.  

Patsy was blessed with 25 years of companionship with Darrell Corder. They traveled extensively, spending winters in Florida. She considered Darrell’s family her own.  

She is survived by her children, Gerald (Toni) Cox, Wally (Tammy) Cox, and Susan (Donald) Lynd; significant other, Darrell Corder; special friend, Marie Brown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Bottelman; sister-in-law, Jeannette Hansen; She is further survived by many nephews and cousins.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Duane; her parents, Glen and Ruby Holland; grandson, Randy Allen Cox; and niece, Jody Repinski. 

The family would like to extend special thanks to Promedica Hospice for their faithful care, especially Natalie and Darrell Corders compassionate care until the end.  

Visitation will take place on Friday September 30, 2022, at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb Whitewater, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
