Obituary of Harold Kenneth Guckenburg

Harold Kenneth Guckenburg, age 84 of Whitewater, WI, went home to be his Lord and his wife on September 18, 2022.  He was born in Walnut Lake Township, MN, the son of Albert and Ruby Guckenburg.  Harold married Marion Hamson on June 1, 1958 in Bricelyn, MN.  He retired from Weiler and Company in 2005 as a grinder.  After receiving Jesus as his personal Savior through a co-worker, he faithfully attended and served in the Whitewater Bible Church.  Harold and Marion were members of the Town Clown Clogger Association of Delavan.  Harold  enjoyed doing many things with his wife, including attending many of the different UW-Whitewater Warhawk sporting events.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara (Manny) Aryers and brother, Roy (Gaylee) Guckenburg; children: Malinda (James) Bonesteel of Reidsville, NC, Jeanette “Jeanie” Cloute, Whitewater,WI,  and Kenneth Guckenburg, Whitewater, WI; grandchildren, Rebecca, Katherine, David, Alexis, Sarah, Ashleigh, and Tasha; 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, parents, sister, Shirley Bothum and brother, Chuck Guckenburg.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00am at the Whitewater Bible Church, 511 High St. Whitewater, WI 53190.  Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, WI.  Friends may call on Friday,  September 23, 2022 from 5-7pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home 550 N. Newcomb St. Whitewater, WI 53190 and on Saturday at the church from 10am until the time of the service.
