I am humbled and so proud to have been able to spend so much important time with Gil. I know he loved fishing in Canada so much, he said he sometimes didn't even know what he caught, he cooked and ate it anyway. Always the charming smile and laughs. I wish your family much peace. Lauren.

Gilbert,
I just wanted to say you were someone I looked up to during my childhood as you helped raise my brother and I. We ourselves will take the memories you helped us make to our graves.
From trips to State street in Madison, Trips to the rasta store to find great music, camping trips, many trips to resale shops, restaurants, and countless family outings.
You always were a hard worker and definitely fit into my family. I will never forget the times that we all shared at Grandma's the card table. So many great memories were made for everyone there. With all the coffee drinking and yes of course the Pepsi!
Please tell my Mom hi!
I know she was waiting for you!
Love
-Ricky-

My most heart felt condolences. I surely will miss this uncle.. He meant the world to me and I think of him fondly a lot. His best story was when he cooked his first lobster and the thing escaped the pot of boiling water, or the story of him pulling a hair from a donkeys butt. Oh the man could spin a yarn. I have missed you over the years, and i will miss you until we meet again my Uncle.
