Obituary of Helen I Lucht

Helen I. Lucht age 83 of Fort Atkinson WI. passed away on February 27th 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 2nd 1935 in Cazenovia, WI to Ervin and Sarah (Leastman) Allert. Her early life was spent on the farm in Cazenovia WI. On August 16th 1952 she married William Lucht. He truly was her one and only. Every morning and evening for 65 years they shared a kiss, a handhold, and an "I love you". She has been a resident of Fort Atkinson WI since 1955 and worked at various places around Fort Atkinson such as the One Hour Martinizing, Kmart, and the Sentry Grocery Store. In her younger years she was a skilled and avid league bowler. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed homemaking, cooking, traveling, bird watching, flowers, and fishing. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Fort Atkinson. She is survived by her husband William of Fort Atkinson, WI.; children Darlene Lucht of Jefferson, WI. Nancy (Andrew) Lucht-Urbaniak of Kettle Falls, WA. 6 grandchildren Christine Bryson, Katie Holroyd, Elizabeth Neipert, Nicholas Neipert, Jennifer Erickson and Leanna Baker. She is also survived by 2 sister-in-laws Carol Allert and Lenora Allert and 2 brother-in-laws Jerry Spohnholz and Fritz Winecke. She is further survived by 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son William Jr., 3 grandchildren Grant, Kira and James. 2 sisters Shirley Winecke and Carolyn Spohnholz and two brothers Anton Allert and Irvin "sonny" Allert Jr. and her beloved dog Gigi The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Memorials to Disabled American Veterans or Alzheimers and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin. The family would like to thank the staff at Fort Hospital, the drivers of Advacare and a heartfelt thanks to everyone at Rainbow hospice for their care Nitardy Funeral Home is serving the family.
