Obituary of Lorraine M. Jacobson

Lorraine M. Jacobson 1932 - 2018 1-24-2018 In the early morning of Sunday, January 21, 2018, Lorraine M. Jacobson left her Earthly life to be with the Lord. She is now at peace, free of pain and able to see the glories of Heaven. On February 2, 1932, in a house just outside of Fort Atkinson, Lorraine was born to Edward and Elfreida (Draeger) Ebbert. She grew up on the farm, and graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. Her marriage in 1953 to Charles Jacobson brought forth four children: Edward, Elvin, Randall and Pamela. Lorraine worked hard for many years at Highsmith, Nasco, Ransomes and other local businesses. She did her best to support and care for her family and instilled a strong work ethic in her children. Lorraine was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Among the things she enjoyed were her kitties and watching birds. Surviving Lorraine are her sons Edward, Elvin and Randall (Joan); granddaughters Jeni and Michelle. She is further survived by her sister Karen (Phil) Feldkirchner and sister-in-law Janet Ebbert, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Proceeding Lorraine in death were her parents, daughter Pamela, and brother Bruce. Services will be held Saturday February 3rd 2018 10:30AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison Ave. Fort Atkinson, WI. 53538. Friends may visit with family at the Funeral Home from 9:00AM until the time of Service. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery Fort Atkinson, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society, St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Rainbow Hospice.
