Obituary of Teresa Marie Gaffner

Teresa Marie Gaffner, 49, Fort Atkinson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and one of her pastors on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Aurora St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Teresa was born on March 28, 1968 in Fort Atkinson to Paul and Mary (Lyke) Jahnke. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. She worked at Redi Serve in Fort Atkinson for a number of years and later at McDonalds. She enjoyed going to bible study at the Trinity Lutheran Church and riding on four wheelers with her grandson Darius and her special friend Neil Owen. She wants her whole family and future family to know she loves them all. Teresa is survived by her parents Paul and Mary Jahnke, Jefferson; son Dale Gaffner (Amanda); grandchildren Darius, Emma and Bella; sister Paula Teubert; Niece Hannah; Nephew Devin Johnson; and special longtime friend Neil Owen; many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Julie Jahnke Johnson; paternal grandparents Orvin and Beulah Jahnke; maternal grandparents Charles and Rosetta Lyke; god mother Sandra Uhe. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 314 Barrie St. Fort Atkinson, WI 53538. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. The family would like to thank the pastors at Trinity Lutheran Church for their love and support and the doctors and nurses that treated Teresa.
