Obituary of Maribel Ruiz-Flores

Maribel Yessenia Ruiz Flores, 36 of Whitewater entered eternal rest Wednesday, January 31, 2018. She was born in Yautepec, Morelos, Mexico. Maribel was born in Morelos, Mexico on June 17, 1981 to Guadalupe Flores Rocha and Ramiro Ruiz Flores. Mrs. Ruiz Flores studied at Secundaria Tecnica 33 and graduated as valedictorian of her class as medical secretary in 1998. Maribel had two daughters Brittany (16) and Evelyn (14) with her childhood love. She is survived by her daughters, parents, siblings, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends. Maribel's passion was to spend as much time as possible with her family, especially attending school events with her daughters, reading, watching Netflix, gardening, but most importantly making sure everyone around her was always smiling. Funeral services will be held at United Methodist Church 145 S Prairie St. in Whitewater on Tuesday, February 6th at 6pm. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00pm until the time of the service at the church. A visitation will also follow the service at V's Waterfront Venue LLC (formally known as Rocha's Waterfront) 292 S Wisconsin St. Whitewater, WI from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Nitardy Funeral Home of Whitewater is assisting the family. A fund to support her children has been established at the school district.
