Obituary of Courtney F. Church

Courtney F. Church, age 71, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on April 6, 2017 at Alden Estates of Jefferson due to kidney cancer. Courtney was born in Watertown, Wisconsin on September 5, 1945, the son of Clare F. and Frances (Lowe) Church. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1963 and served his country in the Wisconsin National Guard. Courtney worked for numerous auto dealerships as a mechanic for 31 years. In retirement, he became a truck driver which he loved because he could see the country. He loved and owned numerous custom cars and motorcycles. Surviving are: The love of his life, his wife of 49 years Claudia; children: Candy (Kerry) Wild and their children Devin (Dani Emerick) and Seth from Missouri; Christopher (Dawn) Church and their son Braeden of Fort Atkinson; Corey (Aftin) Church and his sons Brandon and Max of Whitewater, WI. Courtney was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Hunter Wild, and a granddaughter Hannah Church. Per his wishes, no formal services will be held.
