Obituary of William G.

William G. "Bill" Mildenstein, Sr. age 69, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born July 21, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William W. and Rosella (Myscwicz) Mildenstein. Bill married Carol (Henderson) on October 18, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. They loved in the Chicagoland area and had three sons, William Jr., James, and Joseph. In 1987 the family moved to Wisconsin. Bill was a kind, funny and loving gentleman who touched the lives of everyone he met. He worked in the furniture industry throughout his career, was a proud retired member of the Jefferson County Emergency Communications, Inc. and an animal lover who was especially fond of the barking, four legged variety who seemed to often follow him home. Surviving are his wife Carol. Sons: James J. Mildenstein and Joseph A. (Nicole) Mildenstein. Grandchildren: James D. Mildenstein, Hannah Mildenstein, Autum Thiele, and Alyssa Mildenstein, all of Fort Atkinson. In addition he is survived by his sister Joyce Carbone, Carol Steam, IL, Sister-in-law: Paula (Dennis) Bleatman, Hoffman Estates, IL, and Brother-in-law: Tom (Joanne) Henderson, Lindenhurst, IL, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, former daughter-in-law Heather Hake and many other family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his son William G. Mildenstein Jr. and his parents. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 10:00AM until 2:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Homes Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI with a service to follow officiated by Chaplain Sister Shannon Finger. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Rainbow Hospice for not only their superior, loving care of Bill but of the whole family.
