Mercedes Holly HALASE, age 70, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, �March 15, 2009, at Our House, in Whitewater, WI. �Mercedes was born on December 25, 1938, the daughter of Percy and Ida (Stouski) Turner.� Mercedes loved her job as a school bus driver in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.� She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandkids.� �Surviving are: Daughter: Rochelle (Dave) Klemp, Janesville, WI, Daughter: Julie (David) Bauman, Wauwatosa, WI, Son: Chad (Mary) Halase, Milwaukee, WI, Grandchildren: Connie Davis, Sarah Halase, Jeremiah Mondragon, Joshua Mondragon, Kara, Eric and Chad Doll, and Asheron Mondragon, Great-Grandchild: Chloe Doll, Brother: Marvin Turner, Warrens, WI, Sister: Corlie "Mitzi" Teed, Waukesha, WI, Brother: Lowell "Butch" Turner, Oak Creek, WI, and Sister: June Brunette, Whitewater, WI. �Mercedes was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Christina Halase, her husband Raymond Halase, five brothers and one sister. �A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2009, from 2:00-3:30PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin.
